When all is said and done, what you’ll have left from your wedding day are the photos.

Your wedding gallery will tell the story of your big day. Your wedding gallery will reflect your style and taste, and anything and everything that you request will be incorporated.

Every Detail

Every detail will be captured. From your footwear, to your flowers, to the napkins on the table. I know how much thought goes into choosing these things, and they deserve to be photographed.

The big moments…

The first look, first kiss and first dance as a married couple. These are some of the most cherished moments from a wedding day and I make capturing these moments well my highest priority on the wedding day.

The little ones….

The hugs, the tears, the laughter. This day will likely be the most emotional and special one you’ll ever have. Reflecting that in your wedding gallery is important to me and I make sure to keep an eye out for these moments so you can cherish them forever.

“Kaitlyn really has an eye for capturing sweet and candid moments.”

We loved Kaitlyn's work and were excited to work with her. Her pictures are simply stunning. Kaitlyn really has an eye for capturing sweet and candid moments. We are by no means models but she made us feel comfortable and natural. Kaitlyn is very responsive, professional, and had a quick turnaround time getting the pictures to us.

How is the day photographed?

What full day coverage entails…

2. Getting Ready

The getting ready shots are also an important part of your wedding day story. You will likely spend hours getting ready with your favorite people, and believe it or not, some of the sweetest moments of the day happen during this time. Lots of hugs and laughter and sometimes tears happen, so why not have it photographed?

1, Details

Something I always tell my couples is that you will be so happy that you didn’t skip having the detail shots captured. I usually ask for about 30 minutes upon arrival to take flatlay shots of the invitation, jewelry, shoes, flowers, rings, etc. Also, I ask for another 30 minutes at some point during the day to capture details of the ceremony and reception space. These shots tie your wedding gallery together and are essential in the story that it tells of your wedding day.

4. Couple Portraits

This seems to be most people’s favorite part! And I have to say that it’s mine too! I like to spend somewhere between 20-35 minutes taking couple portraits if possible. If we did an engagement session together, I will use a lot of the same prompts on your wedding day. If we didn’t have a chance to work together before your wedding day, that’s okay too! I have worked with many different types of couples and am able to easily direct (not pose) you in a way that fits your personalities.

5. Special Moments

This includes the first dances, the cake cutting, toasts and all the other moments that will make your wedding day so special. Some people call these moments “candids.” I put a lot of emphasis on these moments and it’s likely that a majority of the photos you will receive in your wedding gallery will be candids. On a day with so much happening, there are so many smiles, hugs, kisses and laughter. It is important to me to capture as many of these moments as possible because I truly believe when all is said and done, these moments will mean the most to you.

3. Formals

Formals include anything from wedding party photos to family photos. These probably take the most time out of the day’s photography coverage, but about a month before the wedding, I will send you a questionnaire that will ask you to list all the formals you want. Having this list helps significantly and makes this go a lot smoother!

5. Ceremony

Ah, the part we’ve been waiting for! Unless there are religious restrictions to abide by, I will be discretely and quietly moving around during the ceremony to capture these moments from different angles. There will be a healthy mix of wide angle shots and close up shots, as well as photos of the guests and the wedding party. I also will usually ask the couple to stop in the aisle as they’re walking back down for a kiss!

6. Celebration

Whether your post-ceremony celebration involves just dinner and mingling, or a huge party with music and lights, your celebration photos will show the fun side of your wedding. This part of the photography coverage will give you the opportunity to see all of your wonderful guests having a blast at the day you spent months or even years planning for. It’s almost impossible to look at these without smiling ear to ear.

“She captured our wedding day exactly how we asked.”

Kaitlyn was PERFECT! She captured our wedding day exactly how we asked. She is the easiest person to talk to; my husband and I felt as if we knew her for forever. It took no time to get the pictures back too, which was amazing to me. I can’t wait to frame them in our home to keep forever
