How, when and where do we receive our images?
I deliver all of my images digitally through an online downloadable gallery that is backed up to the mysterious yet wonderful iCloud. You will be able to download the photos in high resolution, or in lower resolution that is more appropriate for online use, such as social media posts. Additionally, this gallery has an online print store connected to it!
When you can expect to receive the photo gallery link will depend on when your wedding is. For weddings during off seasons (such as January, February and March), weddings can take up to 4 weeks to deliver. During busy seasons (summer to fall), weddings usually are delivered within the 6-8 week range.
How many images do you deliver? Do we get to pick the ones you edit?
For weddings with only one photographer, I typically deliver about 75 photos per hour of photography coverage. For weddings with a second photographer, it usually ends up around 100 photos per hour of photography coverage.
While you would not be able to pick which images are edited and delivered, I make a promise to deliver anything and everything that is worth delivering. This means that any photo that is in focus and has everyone’s eyes open will be delivered. No precious moments that are captured will be left behind!
What if I don’t yet know everything I will need in my wedding photography package?
That’s okay! I know that the itinerary of the wedding day can be a little difficult to nail down until closer to the wedding date. You can absolutely still book your wedding with me and add extra hours later on! I am also able to assist you in structuring your wedding day timeline so you will have a good idea of how much time you'‘ll need for certain photos. All you have to do is ask!
Who is your second shooter? And are they necessary?
I alternate between the same 5ish people based on their availability. It is very rare that I work with a second photographer who I haven’t worked with a significant amount! These second shooters are highly skilled and have worked with me enough to know how to shoot weddings in a way that is consistent with my work. You won’t even be able to tell who took what photo when you look through your gallery!
How should we let you know what specific shots we want?
About a month before the wedding, I will send you a questionnaire that will provide me with pretty much everything I would need to know about your wedding day. It will ask you questions like “Do you want a first look with your father?” and “Are there any surprises during your reception that I should be aware of?” It will also ask you to list the family photos you’d like captured. I use this questionnaire HEAVILY on the wedding day, so I place a lot of emphasis on its’ importance!
